Will you give to bless hurting families with a proper response to their grief?
Our Memorial Events are free to the public, but we are accepting contributions to cover our production costs. Almost all of the performers are serving for no compensation, with only a few receiving a nominal honorarium. But there are still significant expenses for sound, printing, and recording. Your support covers these production costs, blesses the families who attend and receive a Memorial Book, and benefits ongoing anti-violence work and pastoral care.

If you plan to attend, and are able, we suggest a donation of $20 per person. A donation of $50 will bless others who cannot afford the suggested amount. All donations will bless our honored guests – the families of those who died – and make it possible for us to offer this memorial experience to everyone.

Memorial Book & Recording
The Memorial Book combines the poetry of Susan Johnson and Mama Brenda, with photography from Carlos Javier Ortiz, a forward by Fr. Michael Pfleger, and testimonies of resiliency and hope. We will present this book as a gift to parents of children who have died in violence.
You may purchase the book for $20 at our events (or $25 online). For donations of $100, we will send you the Memorial Book as a thank you gift. More importantly, your donation will enable us to give the book to grieving families. A video and CD recording are now available for pre-order online.
